Good mobile plan, nice savings

I switched to a Piani Mobile 5G plan last month and got a nice 'passa a TIM' discount. Activation was free too which was great. It felt like good value for what I paid, and the service has been fine so far. Took about 4 days for the SIM to arrive.

Reliable internet once again

This is my third time using TIM for internet, and they've been consistently good. I upgraded to TIM WiFi Casa with Fibra Ottica this time. The speed is solid, just like my previous plans. Activation was smooth, and the Modem TIM Hub+ they sent works well. I chose them again because I know what to expect, and they usually have some kind of 'offerta fibra' which helps. No major issues, which is all I really want from an internet provider.

Thinking about switching my internet to TIM. How long does it usually take for them to actually get the fiber activated once I sign up? Like, is it weeks or can it be pretty quick?

Yeah, I just did this, it was about 2-3 weeks for mine. They had to send a tech out to install some stuff. Not super fast but not forever.

Mine was surprisingly quick, only took like 10 days for the fiber to be all set up. Guess it depends on where you live and if they need to do any major work at your place.

Hey, thinking of getting a new iPhone 15 from TIM with one of their plans. Can you actually get it on installments without a credit card? I don't really use one.

From what I remember when I got my Samsung, they usually need a credit card for the installment plans. I don't think they do it without one, but you might want to double-check their site.

I'm pretty sure you need a credit card for the phone installments. I tried doing it with just my bank account info and they said no go. Might be different now, but that was my experience.
